CARBON-X has been trusted for decades by those who are serious about maintaining their aircraft. It is a water soluble, biodegradable, non-flammable, non-toxic concentrate, that can be used in pennies-per-gallon dilutions to outperform other cleaners. Pleasantly scented, and stainless, it leaves no oily film or residual gumminess. Safe to use on metals, electrical insulations and most painted and plastic surfaces. It will pay for itself in its virtually unlimited applications by replacing many obsolete degreasers with one all purpose cleaner.

Approved for use as aircraft exterior surface cleaner: Douglas Aircraft CSO #1; Boeing D6-17487 Revision L.

Is Carbon X safe for use on fabric covered aircraft? I believe my Taylorcraft is painted with Imron paint.

Per Vendor: Yes this can be used on fabric covered aircraft. The vendor recommends to dilute this 15 to 20:1.

Carbon-x cleaner - is this a chemical that I need to rinse off with water? or is it a part of a dry wash.

Yes, this will need to be rinsed off thoroughly with water.

Can I use this Carbon X Cleaner as a general product for washing the plane? And at what dulution rate? Will is remove the wax on my plane?

Yes, it can be used for washing your aircraft. It can be diluted up to 20:1, but there is not a dilution chart, so actual usage would need to determine the dilution rate for your specific application. It may remove some wax.

Does Carbon X cleaner / degreaser have a shelf life?

This will have a 12month shelf life once opened.
