WINTER EBF PITOT TUBE / VENTURI

The pitot tube is the sensor for aircraft instruments. It consists of a cylindrical tube open at the front to sense total pressure (measuring pressure for airspeed indicators) and slotted along the sides to sense static pressure. These pressures must then be carried to the instruments by hoses.
