Are these alternators FAA/PMA Approved for certified aircraft?

Yes, these alternators are FAA/PMA approved with an 8130 certificate.

How much does this alternator weigh? Also, does it come with the required rectifier circuitry to convert its AC output to useable DC output ? (I am referring to the Airpower 365662HR O/H alternator.)

This will weigh 10lbs. The rectifier circuitry is built inside the unit itself to have useable DC output.

Is there a core charge? What is the procedure for returning the core?
