Cessna 170 & 172 spinner kit. Includes front backplate attached directly to spinner. Used with McCauley propeller Model DM or MDM with Continental 0300, A and B engines. Rear 8-hole backplate included.

Replaces Cessna P/N 0550162-7 and backplate P/N 0550162-3. Diameter 9-1/2", Height 13".

Cessna 170B S/N 25373 & up, 172 S/N 2800 thru 46754
Will only work with a prop extension because the flange turns toward the cowling & the prop will hit the cowling.
Attached back plate has 8 holes - uses a 10-32 screw to attach the rear back plate to spinner - inside hub attach point is 3-3/4" across and 1-1/4" Deep
The spinner can be polished if customer wants to spend some time on it. They are spun on a machine when they are made which leaves fine lines in the aluminum.

Is this FAA-PMA approved, and can you provide the appropriate documentation?

This comes with a PMA tag. It is approved for the Cessna 170B S/N 25373 and up and 172 S/N 28000 thru 46754.

Are the 10-32 screws included?

The nut plates are included but the screws are not.

Is the spinner ready to mount or is drilling or machining required?

You should not need to drill or machine, it is ready for install.
