What is the current draw for 14 volt Whelen Chroma Position LED lamps?

For 14 volt lamps, they draw 0.30 amps at 14 VDC.

Regarding Whelen Chroma LED Lamps: Do I need to use a clear lens, or the colored lens that are already used with the incandescent bulbs?

You can use the existing colored lenses.

I have a 1989 Piper Warrior and I was wondering if these are just the LED Bulbs? Will they replace the bulbs that are currently installed without replacing the whole position wingtip light?

Yes, these are the bulbs only and are designed to be a "bulb only" replacement for the currently installed lights.

I understand you can use the colored bulbs with the colored lens, but is it better to have a clear lens or is it better to use a colored lens? I have heard that green bulb/green lens may be a better combo.

Per Whelen they are designed to be used with the colored lens. You use the colored lens so that the TSO'd light assy is not modified in any way other than changing the bulb.

How many lumens for the Whelen Chroma Position LED Lamps?

Whelen does not measure their output in lumens. They are 40 candella and are the same output as the w1290 bulbs they replace.

Is the PART # 11-15019 a direct replacement for the A7512-12 bulb? The specs list the A7512-24 but don't specifically mention the A7512-12.

It will, you just need to select the color you need and the 14volt option.

I have briefly looked around and did not see any reference to the post on the base of the Whelen Chroma bulbs. Are they directly opposing or are they offset?

These are off set.

I have read that some LEDs produce RF interference, do these Whelen Chroma bulbs have any problems with radios?

Per Whelen: NO EMI / RFI interference, as Chroma bulbs are built using fixed current sources.

Is there an LED replacement for W-1512?

We have a 5 watt version (11-11374) and a 4 watt version(11-11369.) They are for experimental use only.

No they are intended for install on a wingtip nav lights.
