The GoPro HERO5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 Audio Recorder Headset Adapter allows you to record all audio heard over the aircraft intercom system to your GoPro HERO5,6,7, 8 or HERO5,6,7, 8 Session Video Camera. The camera will record all of the audio transmitted through the intercom system, including in-cabin audio and ATC radio transmissions.

It's great for creating your own aerial videos without excess cabin noise. Can be used by CFI's and Students to review radio communication skills after the flight!

PLEASE NOTE: You may need to update your camera to the latest software to utilize this adapter. Please visit GoPro's website for the latest software release

This cable will not charge/power the unit. It will be dependent on the rechargeable battery for power.

Will you please describe the connections on this unit as well as any additional items come in the package?

The female end receives the microphone plug from a dual GA headset. Then there is a pigtail wire that goes to a male plug which connects to the GoPro. Another male plug goes into the mic jack in the aircraft. There are no other items in the package, only the adapter.

How long is the cord and what are the specs for the male and female plugs on this cord setup?

This cable goes inline with the microphone jack to record audio. The cable is 5 feet.

Will it work on gopro hero 9?

Yes, this works with the Hero 9.
