Вопросы и ответы
Are these pressure sensors TSO'd for certified aircraft? If not, is an STC approved? What data can you give me that would allow me to put them on my aircraft? I'm very interested in the awareness for the pilot, but need to mitigate the risks. Thanks, Rolland

This Tire Pressure Monitoring System is not FAA Approved and should not be installed on certified aircraft. It is for experimental use only.

I need the dimensions of the display unit as I have limited space on my LSA, and are the sensors roughly the size as a tire valve cap since I have wheel pants that have minimal clearance?

Per the supplier: The monitor is about the same size as the iPhone. The sensors are larger than the valve cap. 3/4" diameter x 3/4" long. It is important that there is sufficient clearance for the sensors.

What documentation can be provided for the 337 field approval of this Tire Pressure Monitoring System? How can I obtain it?

The only documentation available for this system is the manufacturer's C of C. These are intended for experimental aircraft use only. If you would like the C of C, please request it at the time the order is placed.

Regarding the Tire Pressure Monitor System: Since my aircraft uses differential brake steering, I wondered if this unit monitors or alarms for low pressure during flight, while the gear is retracted?

Per supplier: The unit detects for low pressure by vibration. There is no guarantee it will work during flight or while the gear is retracted. It is made for when the aircraft is on the ground and not during flight.

Will the Tire Pressure Monitors work with wheel pants? Its a very confined space.

The tire pressure sensors are small and will fit most wheel pants, because the tire valve stems vary in length it is important to check clearances.

What is the battery type used in the Tire Pressure monitor sensor?

This system takes 2 x AAA batteries.

Are there any batteries in the valve caps? Will they need to be replaced after 2 years?

Each monitor will have a flat battery (CR1632) and usually last 2 years, it just depends on how often the unit is activated.

What is meant by each on the Tire Pressure Monitor System? Monitor and 3 valves or for each valve?

This unit is priced and sold as the kit shown in photo. You will receive the unit and 3 valves.

The answer to a previous question states the unit detects low pressure by vibration. Do I assume the tire pressure value displayed is extrapolated from vibration and not the actual tire air pressure?

The sensors are motion activated by wheel turn or vibration, but actual pressure shown is the wheel pressure.
