Вопросы и ответы
What is the pot life for this epoxy green primer? Does it age and crack?

The maximum pot life of the epoxy green primer is 7 hours at 70 degrees F. Discard materials when viscosity increases or becomes stringy between the fingers. There is no tech data sheet that says if it ages or cracks but this particular epoxy primer will not shrink like a polyester primer would.

What does the gallon kit of Stits Epoxy Primer actually consist of? It does not give the sizes of the base, catalyst, and reducer in the description.

The kit components are as follows:

Can you apply this over [or to seal] zinc chromate on older plane frames to ensure youre compatible with the Poly-Fiber polyester products?

The answer is yes. All one needs to do is (clean, waiting long enough for the surface to dry) scuff and shoot.

Is this considered polyepoxamide primer?

Yes, but that it is not structural in nature.

Can you confirm that Stits epoxy primer does not contain polyisocyanides and it can be safely sprayed with a quality filtered respirator?

Epoxy primer does NOT contain any isocyanates and it can be sprayed with a cartridge respirator that has organic vapor cartridges.
