Products Techniques, Inc. MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) is a liquid solvent used in surface coatings, adhesives, printing inks, chemical intermediates, magnetic tapes and as dewaxing agents. MEK also is used as a solvent for fats, oils, waxes and resins. MEK is a highly efficient and versatile solvent for surface coatings. MEK is virgin (not recycled) MEK that may be used to clean and prepare the substrate for painting. MEK may also be used to clean brushes, paint guns and other painting tools.

MEK WIPES KIT (MEK/WC3)
MEK/WC3 Aircraft Detail Kit includes MEK, wipes and dispensing bucket that all meet and exceed current military and commercial specifications. The dispensing bucket is an airtight container with a gasket to reduce contamination and/or evaporation. MEK/WC3 kit gives you more control over the dispensing and application of your cleaning solution. Because the amount of solution added is measured and fully saturated into each wipe. This results in a max 20% reduction in chemical usage. All these factors make this detail kit the most productive and efficient way clean most any smooth to semi smooth surfaces.

MEK/WA2 Abrasive Surface Wipes Kit includes MEK, wipes for abrasive surfaces and dispensing bucket. All components meet and exceed current military and commercial specifications. The dispensing bucket is an airtight container with a gasket to reduce contamination and evaporation. MEK/WA2 kit gives you more control over the dispensing and application of your cleaning solution. Because the amount of solution added is measured and fully saturated into each wipe, a max of 20% reduction in chemical usage. All these factors make this detail kit the most productive and efficient way to clean parts and equipment with abrasive surfaces.
