Model Differences

Odyssey batteries, with an eight year design life saves you time and money because you do not have to replace your battery as often. It is also the only battery that is capable of delivering a large number of deep cycles up to 400 when fully discharged or up to 500 when discharged to 80%. Plus, the battery is specially designed for high vibration applications.

Unlike conventional batteries that need to be recharged every six to twelve weeks, the Odyssey battery will maintain up to 50% state of charge after 2 yrs if stored at room temperature (77ºF). At temperatures lower than 77°F, storage times will be even longer. The cranking power of Odyssey batteries is double to triple that of equally sized conventional batteries, even when the temperature is as low as -40ºF. No, this battery is only available sealed.

For the Odyssey Dry Cell Battery PC545, the picture shows female terminals. Are there male terminals not shown?

The Odyssey Dry Cell Battery PC545 come with female terminals. If you would like male terminals, they are called the SAE Terminals that you would screw in with an Allan Wrench to the battery and they can be custom ordered at time of purchase along with the battery.

Is this Odyssey Dry Cell PC 545 battery PMA approved for a 7AC Champ?

This battery is not PMA'd. There is an stc for this battery in a Champ but it also involves an engine swap. You might be able to get a 337 for it though.

Is the Odyssey Dry Cell PC625 battery a lead acid battery? How much are the SAE terminals?

The PC625 is an AGM lead acid battery. The SAE terminals do not fit the PC625.
