Which 9 pin male connector is the mating part? Are they joined with screws? If so, does one of the connectors have nuts or threads in place?

The male connector would be part # 11-12150. Please note that these parts are not typically joined together, they usually go directly to an avionics unit. If you are needing a extender kit you can use CPC connector kits part # 11-14005
