Вопросы и ответы
Does this strobe need a separate power supply?

It does not, It will work with any DC source that is 10-15VDC.

Where on the aircraft is this intended to be installed?

This is not an FAA/PMA approved unit and should be installed where the builder feels would work best as an anti-collision strobe.

Does the Aircraft Anti-Collision Strobe light 45W 1350LM- CREE LEDS come with a transparent cover as part of the kit?

The transparent cover is included.

Will this Aircraft Anti-Collision Strobe Light work as an anti-collision light for certified aircraft?

This is not an FAA/PMA approved unit and is designed for experimental aircraft.

Will they hook up to flash together in sequence? Do they flash in color or is the a red or green LED light with flashing white strobe?

These anti-collision lights are timed independently. Sometimes they will synchronize, but only by chance. They are one color per light, that flash together.

Regarding the Aircraft Anti-Collision Strobe Light 45W 1350LM - CREE LEDS: What are the angles of effective viewing in both axes? Also, what is the approximate flash rate?

The effective viewing angle on the horizontal plane is 120 degrees off vertical with reference to the PCB. The flash rate is 25ms (40/s).

What is the visible range of this unit?

Per the supplier: We have not done any engineering measurements of that nature, since the FAA only wants to know the light output in candlepower or lumens (1350 lumens). Only the coast guard does those type of measurements.

How many lumens if using the red LEDs. Is brightness diminished?

The red LEDs have 1300 lumens. Brightness is slightly less than the white.

Do the reds and greens have a constant on red or green and also flash white strobe?

Each assembly is one color, red, green, or white, and flash only.

What are the dimensions of this Aircraft Anti-collision strobe light 45w 1350LM CREE?

The unit is 2.37" long, 1.20" wide, and .39" tall.

What size amp breaker should this Aircraft Anti-Collision Strobe Light 45W 1350LM - CREE LED be used with?

Each light draws about 500ma, so if you have 3 lights, a 2 amp fuse is plenty.

I am confused ...1 unit needs 45 watts so 5 watts per led (9) in one complete unit? So, it would need more or less 4 amps breaker per unit? Or the total lumens is equal to a 45 watts incandescent light?

One light draws about 300ma and is equivalent to 45w incandescent lights. You can use 9 pieces of "5w" CREE LEDs.

What is the warranty of the this light?

This has a 90 day warranty with the manufacturer.

If I buy a green and red will it flash just those colors our will it flash white also our will it flash the color then white? I have a Cessna 150. I have the regular lights on it and just want to add the strobes.

Each assembly is one color, red, green, or white, and flash only. Please note these lights are not a certified and cannot be installed on a certified aircraft.

Am I correct that the flash rate is 10 flashes per second?

It is 7.5 flashes per second per vendor.
