This 12 Volt tail light is designed to be mounted at the tail unit or at the rudder, provided a shaped cone is present. The illumination angle is equivalent to the required angle of 140 deg. as prescribed for experimental aircraft.

Is this a direct replacement for tail lights on the rudder of certified A/C?

The EPL Tail light is a non TSO'd light and is designed for experimental aircraft.

Does this EPL tail light only operate as steady on or does it flash / strobe?

This is a steady white tail position light only. The strobe feature is not available for this light.

What is the spacing between mounting holes?

2" to 2-1/16"
