Combination strobe/tail navigation light used when the wing tip anti-collision lights are mounted in an enclosure and can’t provide 360º of strobe coverage. It is a direct replacement for the standard tail position light. Available in a radio-shielded version. Voltage (14 or 28) and mounting (horizontal or vertical) must be specified when ordering.

I have an Aeroflash A555-14 position light in my RV 7A and need to have a tail/position light. Can I use your Whelen 11-04281 as a direct replacement?

Per the tech @ Whelen: This assembly will not work as it is a 28 volt assembly and the RV7 is a 14 volt system.

Do you require a strobe unit to make this light strobe?

No. This will only require a separate power supply in order to make the strobe work. The strobe function is part of the light.
