Will the Falcon EGT and CHT senders work with the Westach gauges?

We always recommend using the manufactures probes with the manufacture gauge as they have been tested to work. Others could work but you would have to install them to find out and we cannot return used probes.

Is the spark plug gasket removed when using the probe?

You must keep the gasket. Place the probe in between the gasket and the spark plug.

Is this a K type sensor?

No, part # 10-02287 Swift 14mm CHT sender is type "J".

Is it ok to extend the wires if the gauge is farther away?

Yes, you can use the Falcon engine probe extension wire. We offer, 4,6,8 or 10 feet extension leads. 10-02339 - 4FT | 10-02341 - 6FT | 10-02344 - 8FT | 10-02346 - 10FT.
