What sender needs to be used with this gauge?

The sender for this gauge is part number 10-01083.

If this is a mechanical gauge why do you say it needs a sender? Is the gauge wet. eg fuel supplied to the gauge? Thanks

All fuel gauges require a sender that is placed in the tank. This is done so that you do not have to run fuel through your cabin and to the gauge. It is safer to use a sender.
