Finger strainers are for fuel tank outlets. Standard size features a brass fitting with 3/8" male pipe thread which fits AN867-3 welding flange, and 1/4" female pipe thread for valve or fuel line fitting. Screen is 16 mesh brass.

Large finger strainer has a 3/8"-NPT x 1/2"-M-NPT brass bushing with a T304 stainless steel screen. Uses welding flange AN867-4.

The standard finger strainer is approximately 2-11/16" long. The large finger strainer is approximately 3" long.

Does the large strainer (part # 05-04445) have a fitting to accept AN(-8) fittings for 1/2 fuel lines?

The thread size of the strainer is a 3/8" NPT Female and a 1/2" NPT male threads.

Is the Large finger strainer screen 16 mesh as well?

Yes they are both 16 mesh.

What is the screen height and thread grip height for the standard strainer? Also what is the HEX dimension?

The screen is 2". The thread is 3/8 npt and it is .421" long. You would use a 3/4 wrench.
