Does the ASA fuel tester, Part # 05-03386, have a metal probe pin, or is it plastic, like the older models?

It has a plastic probe pin. The only screwdriver type tester with a metal probe pin is the Jeppesen unit part number 05-17215.

Can we purchase just the little plastic insert for this ASA fuel tester screwdriver or is it only sold as an assembly?

This is only sold as an assembly.
