Regarding pn 10-00250: How does this Cessna type static port attach to the skin of a metal aircraft if no rivets as the overview says? I'm trying to pick a static port and there are no reviews available to help make a decision. What pn static port are most builders using on homebuilts?

The 10-00250 is commonly bonded to the skin of the aircraft. Some users have drilled holes on the face area and riveted. It depends on the builder and application. It works both ways. We offer many static ports and are selected by the builder to best suit the aircraft application.

What is the diameter of the hose?

The instructions call for 1/4" I.D. hose for this port.
