Описание

Pilot isolate, crew isolate, and dual entertainment sources allow full flexibility, even giving pilots the option to feed monaural music to the passengers and allow them to chat among themselves without disturbing the front seats. (Note: crew isolate and dual music requires the 11920 model)

  • Soft Mute circuitry is our standard-setting solution for managing the music volume levels against radio reception and transmission.
  • Automatic fail-safe interconnect to the aircraft radio wires the pilot's headset to the aircraft radio in the event of disrupted power or related failure.
  • Separate pilot and copilot transmit capabilities ensures that only the person pressing the PTT will be heard over the radio. A red transmit light is illuminated when a PTT is pressed -- this also serves as a "stuck-mic" indicator.
  • Independent intercom volume settings do not affect radio equipment volume levels, allowing better control over communications.
  • An optional digital recorder can provide up to one minute of storage of radio receptions. A continuous loop recorder, it does not record "dead air time", giving the pilots an option to store up to 16 messages at any one time.

Вопросы и ответы
Can the PS Intercom system be installed with the Dynon Skyview radio?

Yes, per Dynon, they are compatible.

What is included with the PM 1000 INTERCOM 4 PLACE W/ CREW CUSTOM HARNESS part # 11-12112? How is it custom?

The harness will include all jacks for 4 positions within the aircraft and music input jacks. The ability of specifying the harness lengths versus standard length harnesses makes this part number custom.

Is the PS Engineering PM 1000II intercom TSOd?

Yes, this intercom is TSO approved.

What are the dimensions (L x W x D) and weight of the vertical PM1000 II?

Dimensions: 1.25" H x 2.60" W x 5.50" D. Weight 12 Ounces (0.342 kg).

Just information, A current question on about the PS1000II Intercomm states that the Intercom is TSOd. That is true for all except the model with the recorder, I just called PS Engineering to verify. The recorder version is for non certified aircraft.

Thank you for the information, we will post it for future customers.

Can this intercom be operated only with batteries or does it have to be wired to the aircraft power source?

It must be wired to an aircraft power source.

What is the difference between with crew and without crew versions of the PM 1000II 4 place mono intercom?

The Without-Crew model (PSE P/N 11922) has a center selector switch with a position labeled Iso* that allows the pilot to isolate himself and the radios from the other 3 intercom stations. While the With-Crew model (PSE P/N 11920) has a center selector switch with an additional third position labeled Crew which allows both the pilot and co-pilot positions (collectively the front seat flight crew) to isolate themselves from the back seater allowing the front seaters to converse with each other and transmit on the radios without the distraction or interruption from the back seaters.

Do these units include the DB 25 connector that mates with the rear of the unit? If so, are the pins solder or crimp style?
