Is there a difference between a receiver rubber duck antenna and a tranceiver rubber duck antenna?

A transceiver has the ability to transmit and receive and may be different than a receiver antenna. We recommend only using the antenna recommended for your radio.

I have a recent model of Yaesu transceiver, FTA-550L and would like to know if this antenna will work with this model? I lost the one that came with it.
