I have a 5 year old AK-451 in my home build plane. Purchased from Aircraft Spruce. How many batteries do I need to replace the existing batteries in it? I believe the U10029

The AK-451 takes 4 batteries, so to replace them all, we recommend ordering the 4 battery kit.

Does this battery fit and is legal in an Ameriking ELT AK-451 for a certified aircraft?

This battery is not FAA TSO approved. It will fit the Ameriking ELT. Please check with your A&P or local aviation authority for eligibility of legal installation.

Are these batteries hazmat for shipping internationally?

Yes, these are considered hazardous for air shipping.

Do these batteries come with an expiration date sticker for the ELT?

Yes, the batteries have the manufacture date / month and expiration date / month on the sticker.
