ADS-B Receiver with optional WIFI, best optimized for those who fly above and below 18,000 feet or want to replace their existing transponder with the KT 74 1090 extended squitter transponder. Also includes an integrated ADS-B OUT Compliant WAAS GPS. The KGX 15OR provides the ADS-B traffic and weather services to non-certified wireless tablet or certified compatible panel display. No external controller is needed.

Can the KGX150R be used as a replacement for an existing non- ads-b transponder?

This unit is only intended as an ADS-B in receiver, it would not replace an ADS-B transponder. See part number 11-15380 for a bendix/king ADS-B in/out solution.

Does the KGX150R come with the wifi box? p/n89000016-002 and the install kit -017? Also does the 150R come with an install kit. So 2 install kits, the 150R and the WIFI box.

It comes with the install kit for the KGX150R. The wifi module and install kit are a separate option that is not included with part # 11-15381.

Which transponders are approved to be used with the KGX150 and KGX130?

The KT74 is approved to be used with this.
